ARC's Forum at ISA Automation Week highlights asset performance management in a venue where the thought leaders, companies, and organizations involved in managing critical high-value assets and operational activities will examine the challenges and solutions to reduce costs, risk, project cycle time, and energy use.

Automation Market Outlook for 2012 and Beyond

The automation market was severely affected by the economic downturn in 2008, however, it reversed course in 2010 much sooner than anticipated.  Based on ARC research, this session will identify the business drivers that resulted in a remarkable 2010 turnaround, explore the environment going forward, and forecast its health with a focus on DCS and field devices.  ARC will share information from surveys, primary research, and recommendations for suppliers and end users to navigate the uncertain future.

Management Strategies for Asset Performance Management of Field Devices and Production Assets

While the improving automation landscape is once again spurring investment in capital improvements to enhance productivity, the deployment of asset management solutions are increasingly of interest, particularly regarding strategies to get the most out of these investments.  ARC will discuss the asset performance management (APM) solutions, practices, and the value that APM can provide.  Additionally, ARC will identify key issues that must be addressed for a successful APM implementation.

Reliability Best Practices to Reduce Risk and Cost While Improving Safety

Reliability is a broad category of solutions that can be difficult to define.  Reliability solutions have been deployed in organizations for decades with varied levels of success.  This session will discuss not only the different reliability technologies, but more importantly, the collaborative strategies that improve ROI in many areas of the company other than maintenance.  ARC’s Global Reliability Solutions market study, end user interviews, and information from various market research surveys will be presented in this session.
