Presenting the Sixteenth Annual ARC World Industry Forum

Transforming Industry through New Processes and Technologies

February 6-9, 2012 - Orlando, Florida

Supply Chain Integrity:  End to End Tracking and Traceability

Serialization - Track & Trace - AuthenticationBest practices for safeguarding the supply chain are not fully understood.  Many companies lose money because of counterfeit, diverted, or recalled products.  The Supply Chain Integrity Program at ARC’s World Industry Forum will focus on people, process, and technology issues related to end to end tracking and tracing of products.

The program will include keynote presentations from Johnson & Johnson, Dell, and others; a technology panel that includes end users and representatives from SAP and Motorola; and interactive end user groups that will allow practitioners to learn from each other.  The working groups will reconvene to share their findings with the entire group.

This program is full of information, technology, and most importantly, experiences to help you deploy your own Supply Chain Integrity policies, procedures, technologies, processes, and strategies.  You will be able to hear from other executives as well as discuss their views and compare them to your own ideas.

Who Should Attend

Supply chain integrity is a cross disciplinary process.  Personnel from operations, engineering, IT, purchasing, finance, legal, supply chain, brand, and automation can have a role in supply chain integrity efforts.  This program is a must-attend event for:

  • Anyone subject to new global track and trace or serialization regulations
  • Anyone who has a branded product
  • Anyone responsible for protecting their product from counterfeiting, improving product tracking and tracing, or recalls
  • Anyone who wants to learn how to protect their products across their extended supply chain

Industries that are most impacted include food, consumer products, life sciences, electronics, automotive, and aerospace industries.  However, brand protection and supply chain integrity issues are increasingly important to every industry.

Supply Chain Integrity Technology Panel & User Breakouts
CH Robinson is a key player in the product sourcing and transportation of produce.  They needed to develop traceability solutions to insure that perishables have been properly refrigerated so that upon arrival food has that just-picked taste.  CH Robinson will provide the end user perspective surrounding implementation and roll out of track and trace and traceability solutions. Speakers from Motorola and SAP will will present the vendor perspective on critical technology issues associated with sourcing, implementing, and garnering ongoing value from these solutions.  The technology panel discussion will utilize a non-commercial, question-and-answer format.

Following the technology panel, end user attendees (no supplier or ARC attendees) will break into small working groups where they will be able to discuss openly and frankly what their companies are doing in traceability and learn from end users in other industries.
